ARMY AFRICAN AMERICAN CORPORAL OF THE 93RD DIVISION 370th INFANTRY REGIMENT NICKNAMED THE " BLACK DEVILS " PHOTO POSTCARD RPPC. NOTE THE CORPORAL'S WEARS HIS CORPORAL STRIPES ON HIS M1912 TUNIC ALONG WITH HIS ILLINOIS "ILL" COLLAR DISK, AND CAMPAIGN HAT WITH INFANTRY TYPE HAT CORD AND A PARTIALLY VISIBLE SHOULDER PATCH.

The men of the 370th fought with distinction in France and Belgium during the war. The Soldiers fought hard, so hard that the Germans who fought them gave them the nickname of. "Black Devils" for their ferocity in combat.
