Wood TOLE PAINTED BOX black wooden document chest VINTAGE storage This very old box has some history, I'm just not sure what it is. It looks as though it may have originally been decorated with inlaid shell and then painted over. It has some type of thin metal lining that is peeling away.

The overall height is 11.5" and 13.25" wide, 8.25 deep. Inside measures 6.5 x 11.75 and almost 9.5 deep. Hinges are brass color and show signs of age, with flat screws. If I can answer any questions about this, please don't hesitate to contact me.

This is a previously owned vintage wooden box. The hinges are loose and the paint is aged and peeling in some areas.
