Nice vintage solid wood & hand painted bellboy/butler. This piece looks to be circa 1920's-1940's. Great piece of of original Black Americana in its original condition.
Probably was most likely used as a smoking stand, as it looks as though an ashtray would fit perfectly on the tray. This piece measures 36" tall, 13.5" long from the back to the tray, and the base measures 14" x 14" at the bottom.
The tray measures 7" in diameter with area where an ashtray would fit measuring 4.25" in diameter. Overall great vintage shape with very minor wear possible to be found. A little minor cleaning up in spots is probably needed. I did not find any chips, cracks, breaks, etc, to the wood. This piece could have multiple uses these days, besides a smoking stand!
Business card holder, plant stand/holder, put toilet paper rolls on it in the bathroom, etc??
