Here is an Outstanding true authentic 1940s/1950s Black Americana salt and pepper shaker set of a Mammy/Maid and Cook/Chef that are marked' Japan'. The Mammy wears a plaid and polka dot outfit with orange/red hair kerchief on her head and she has her hands folded across her front. The Cook/Chef is so jovial with a big smile and he stands with hands in his pockets and wears blue striped pants and a green shirt and a white apron/vest with black buttons.
He wears his chefs hat. Both shakers have tremendous details in their modeling and are very well done. 3 ΒΌ inches tall and retain their cork stoppers and are marked JAPAN'.
These shakers are in Excellent condition with NO Chips, NO Cracks , minimal age wear and crazing, tiny black dot on Chef's pant and the usual Japan era modeling.
