Vintage Black Americana Dollhouse Scene Miniature Dolls Furniture Lot
Vintage Black Americana miniature dollhouse nursery/bedroom scene featuring multiple dolls, furniture pieces, textiles, and accessories. This charming and unusual assembled display appears to date from approximately the 1930s-1950s and includes a mixture of Japanese export miniatures, handmade folk-art items, and composition/bisque dolls. The centerpiece is a taller standing doll marked "Japan" on the back of the head, dressed in original red polka-dot clothing with painted shoes and molded features. The scene also includes smaller child figures, a miniature baby in wooden cradle/bed, miniature furniture, rug, vanity, dog figure, teddy bear, and additional accessories shown in photos. Items appear to be made from a combination of composition, papier-mâché, bisque, cloth, wood, and hand-painted materials. There is visible age-related wear including: Paint wear and scuffs Fabric fraying and discoloration Dust and aging Surface wear to furniture and figures Possible repairs or loose components General wear consistent with age Please review all photographs carefully as they are part of the description and condition details. This is a wonderful estate-found display with strong folk art and dollhouse appeal. Rare to find an assembled grouping with this much character and visual presentation.
