This is a very rare large antique hand painted Black Americana statue. It is very detailed depicting three young boys eating watermelon over a wooden fence. It has very rich color and a lovely patina from age. The piece is made from very thick heavy chalk ware and measures 17 inches long by 11 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches wide. It is a very early piece. The necks of the two end figures have hairlines but hard to notice as shown. There are a couple very small nicks also. Displays very well and is a rare piece of Black Americana. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. Please make sure to look at all pictures very closely before purchasing, as most pieces in my shop are non refundable.
