Once in a decade opportunity to own one of the most beautiful and sought after 19th century games - J. Bliss's Stanley Africa Game, copyrighted in 1891. Lithography is wonderful as is the condition. Game seems complete and comes with box, board, metal-tipped dart, wooden "African Hut" and ring, cork target, Stanley Falls base, flag, Emin Pasha mover, 4 Stanley movers, 4 bone dice, 2 dice cups, instructions (corner of one page missing), 3 ball bearings and 2 wooden bullets. Stanley, pictured on the board are: Tippu-Tib, Emin-Pasha, 15 unnamed native Africans, Lt.

Ward, Major Edmond Barttelot, R. Parke, and the US flag with 43 stars. The box has been reinforced with brown paper tape inside and at some corners, and the board is just slightly warped, but shows beautifully front and back.
