Tintype African American Man in Uniform Occupational or Soldier Antique Photo

Original 19th century tintype of an African American man wearing a uniform of some kind with painted gold buttons.... And is that a painted military style belt buckle? His hat is on the chair next to him. It's uncased behind 1/6 case cover glass and mat.

The glass has a short scratch on it.. I circled it in red. The tintype has a few soft bends.
