The front and rear flaps of the dust jacket are clipped as shown. The spine of the dust jacket is faintly browned and there is light edgewear at the crown of the spine. Wear along the folds of the dust jacket and some light general dust. Roberts was of mixed racial heritage. Presumed to be the first mystery novel written by an African-American author.
