Rare vintage, 1940s, original 8x10 black and white photograph depicting an obscure and forgotten music/vocal group of Southern African American musicians (gospel singers) out of Gainesville, Georgia. This brilliant image show shows 5 young African American women and one young African American man standing with their white minister. The minister looks quite unhappy. The women are all quite beautiful and are wearing matching outfits and standing in matching poses.

This is a great and rare image of an obscure African American gospel group that would make a great addition to any music memorabilia collection. Ink inscription on verso reads.
