SPRINKLIN SAMBO yard lawn Sprinkler BLACK AMERICANA vintage antique 1930s wood. As seen: Jim Crow Museum / Ferris State University / Big Rapids, Michigan. Delightful collectable Black Americana garden sprinkler. Not many of these wooden ones have survived.

Painted wood Sambo / cast iron base / steel arm / great historical Black Americana memorabilia / antique garden accessory collector. This charming fella measures approx. 27H (from bottom edge of base to top of his hat) x 8W (from shoulder to shoulder). Normal age / usage / weather related wear / paint loss / scuffs / scrapes, knicks, etc. Steel arm (removable) with hook to hold the hose / nozzle.

Metal arm is rusted as shown. Screws for arm mount have been replaced by a previous owner. He is mounted on a (presumably) rotating / spinning / swivels red cast iron base with intact hose attachments. Age / usage related red paint loss. Cast iron base measures: 7.75 x 7.5.

Old black hose metal end is marked. Made in USA with a star.
