This reminds me of the same style of Clockwork Dancers that was manufactured by Ives. Overall, the toy is in very good condition considering the age of the piece. The figure is hand carved and the straw hat is still intact.

The mechanism still winds and will run, yet it is a little sluggish. The piece stands approximately 13 tall. The figure is about 10" tall and the base is approximately 3 1/4" tall by 3 3/4" deep by 7 1/4" long.

The box is dovetailed and the lid has a small amount of damage, which I've tried to show in the photos. Based on research the my father had done in the past, he was fairly certain this was the same piece that was featured in a Black Americana Price Guide.

All of the markings and paint loss matched up to the image. This is part of my late Father's collection so the only information that I can recall is anything that I can remember him pointing out or talking to me about. Any questions, please feel free to ask!
