This very old and rare, Black Americana, Majolica, Striker set. This is an exceptional vintage Striker set.

They are large pieces with the sitting woman measuring 6.5 inches tall, 5 inches wide, and 4.5 inches deep. The standing girl measures 7.5 inches tall, 3 inches wide, and 2.5 inches deep. The sitting woman has the striker on the side. The standing girl does not have a striker on the side. Maybe her tall size was to hold cigars.

The set is in wonderful condition for being so old. Only damage I see is on the sitting woman's hand where there is some paint loss and also some slight paint loss on the nose.

I show close-ups of these for you. The Majolica glaze is bright and very glossy. The figures have very dark skin tones. Set is glazed in beautiful colors of moss green and forest green with blue, pink, purple and yellow accents and they are each a beautiful Robin's egg blue glaze inside. This is a rare majolica set and very rare to find it in this condition and still together.

To the left of her feet you can see a slight change in the green glaze color.

There is a tiny chip here that must have been repaired along the way. The chip is not visible from the front, only the change in Green color. If you look inside the chip is visible. If you choose First Class International I cannot track the package outside of the US (however you can) and it will not be insured.
