Rare Americana 1930s/40s Black History linen tea towels, set of 4

These are museum worthy for the history lesson alone. Keep in mind the time period these were made, when many'roles' a person of colour were stereotypically accepted to things like musician/minstrel, caretaker, or servant - and when most depictions were almost always gaudy and offensive. These towels are true objects of their time. Great vintage condition with one or two tiny marks. One brown line about 1 long on the grain.

Not sure if this is a flaw, or original to fabric weave. May we all become better humans and keep love in our hearts for all.
