This is a rare Madame Alexander doll from 1952 "Cynthia" This is Madame Alexander's first African-American or black doll She's 15 tall and unmarked or else the mark has worn off, and is made of hard plastic, a strung doll, with black hair and brown sleep eyes She's all original in her pink organdy dress with lace trim, with original undies, shoes and socks Her dress shows fading and wear but has no major condition issues such as large tears, holes or stains The doll has no major condition issues or damage either and still poses well in all her joints A lovely Cynthia doll and she comes with the stand for display.
