Lot of 2 Antique Black Americana Cloth Dolls 17 Tall Hand Sewn One of a Kind. This listing includes a black male and female cloth doll from approximately 1920s era.

Dolls are in excellent shape. The female doll's apron in starting to separate at the thread line on the left but it still attached. They are hand sewn and wearing clothing from the period. The male doll has a a few small threads showing but none that are affecting the composition of the doll. They are both around 17 inches tall.

The male doll has on a black velvet tail coat with grey burlap pants. The female doll has on a yellow blouse paired with a plaid skirt and tool apron. The female doll also has a beige petticoat underneath the plaid skirt. Both dolls have shoes that are made of felt.

The female doll also has a bead necklace. Both dolls have embroidered facial features including eyes, mouth, eyelashes and forehead wrinkles. The female doll has yarn like hair and the male has hair that is almost textured like thick carpet. All clothing including shows are sewn directly to the dolls. Clothes are not able to be removed due to this.
