From the estate of Carroll Walker, Norfolk Va historian and photographer. There are no known prints. I cannot tell you what is exactly on these negatives because I have not seen the images printed. Description is from what I can glean from the negatives and my knowledge of the event and the photographer. In a way, it is a mystery.

Set of negatives labeled 1961 Junior League Azalea Ball 4.23.66. The 1966 International Azalea Festival honored Norway and the queen was Kari Borten daughter of the Prime Minister Per Borten. The prime minister attended his daughter at the coronation and, as the ball was a major event, he was most likely there. There is a negative of the Queen and her escort.
