The pictures cover the following subject matters.A map of the city, the most historical spot in New Orleans (Jackson Square), general views, typical street views/scenes, prominent buildings, leading social clubs, hotels, theaters & athletic clubs, places of worship, typical residences, schools & colleges, philanthropy & public spirit, statues & monuments, lakes, parks & suburbs, commercial industries and the old French quarter. An amazing collection of pictures. Its approximate size is 12-1/2" wide, 9-1/4" tall and 1/4 thick. The condition is very good used with no repairs.
The burgundy cardboard portfolio cover has some frayed edges, especially at the fold (please see photos). The portfolio is bound by staples and there is one center page that has become unattached but not torn. The interior pages are cream/yellow in color which appears to be original. They are in good condition with no water stains, writing or damage and the photographs are clear. Its condition is amazing considering its age of over 110+ years.
