Daguerreotype Ambrotype Tintype Mattie Jones Reid Civil Rights

If you are a winner of multiple Auctions, DO NOT PAY, until I send you an invoice. Antique tintype of Mattie Jones (Reid). I would believe that there are not too many of the tintypes of this individual. Someone was kind enough to tell me who this person is.

I conducted some research and what I have found is what appears to be a later picture of Mattie and it appears to be very close. I do not have any provenance to go along with this tintype, so please do the research for yourself and compare pics. This is a special piece for the Black Americana/Civil Rights.

There is no writing on the tintype. There are two creases across the front just at her waist (from left to right). This does affect her left hand. Also, the lower right hand corner has issues. It was maybe bent at one time, then bent back.

The rest of the tintype does show wear. There may be what appears to be white streaks on the item, but this is from the overhead light and not on the item itself, unless otherwise noted in the description. The item(s) you see is what you will receive.
