Could be called hitching post or fence post figurine or statue. This is a real antique piece of black americana that I believe was originally the top of a fence post but not certain of that. This statue is the real deal, not a reproduction. Has was I believe to be original paint, with the cast iron in great condition with no breaks or repairs.
