Buffalo Soldier - Indian War Period Canvas Folding Bucket identified as Duplex Water Pail No. Manufactured and patented by The Planet Co. I believe that it is circa 1895.

Marked/stamped to the All-Black 10th Cavalry... 7.75" high and 10.25" in diameter at the top. There is a brace on each side and metal along the top and bottom so that it can be folded flat.
