Brayton Laguna Vintage "Aunt Jemima"/Mammy Cookie Jar. It is unmarked but from looking it up online this is what it appears to be listed as. Online they say they are Californian made & from 30-40s era. I have no personal knowledge of the piece. Please look at pictures & research online & draw your own conclusions.
& feel free to send questions. Gorgeous Jar but in used condition. I count 10 noticeable chips/chips of paint. As a collector of china figurines it looks mostly like paint chips. May be fixable with paint. The top of wrap on head & the waist seem to be where most of the paint chips/chips are. They don't look deep to me.
But maybe to someone else it would be. Usually chips bother me on this piece it doesn't seem to take away from it. If I were keeping I'd just touch it up wth paint.
On other sights it says Brayton Laguna but I don't know anything about the piece. It's unmarked on bottom. Used piece with chips but still quite a stunning piece.
