Black Baby And Hidden Mother African American Tintype Antique Photo

The baby is propped up against the arm of the chair and it looks like he or she is going through a bit of separation anxiety. But Mom is close by, judging by the dark area that looks like hair, over the child's head. This tintype is in its original paper sleeve, however, it falls out easily. Tintype: Approximately 3 1/4 x 2 1/16 Sleeve: Approximately 3 7/8 x 2 7/16 inches. Tintype: Light brown colored spot at lower left. Vertical bends at lower right. Back has tears and is missing a large piece.
