Antique Photograph Ambrotype Cased Couple Man Top Hat Cane Woman Wagon Outdoor

You are purchasing Antique Photograph Cased Outdoor Couple Man Top Hat Cane Woman In Wagon Dag. First let me say I have no knowledge in this category and this is from my moms estate she left no info on it. I believe this photo is a Ambrotype and the size is 1/6 plate. It has the dots tarnish and an area of tarnish loss on the top side of the man which leaves no background behind so I do believe the image is directly on the glass. It has a man with a top hat(stovepipe) with a walking stick cane and a woman with a bonnet and gloves they are sitting on a wagon with what appears to be trees in the back they are outside and they do look like a wealthy couple by what they are wearing.

The case is what i believe they call tooled leather under the case where there is loss to the material is bible writing. The decor is ornate and floral leaves patterns repeated. The inside has velvet on the one side with the floral decor. It measures 3" x 3.75".

There is some areas of loss to the leather as shown. There is wear and the center that holds the two pieces together has tape. The photo side by the man top has loss as shown there is a small row of those loss dots right next to it and another area of those dots to much more smaller and minor at the edge of the outside of the women. The other spots you are seeing are dust. The clasp closure works it does have tarnish with age.
