Antique Pewter Tobacco Box Black Americana Container Humidor Pot

The piece measures approximately 5 inches by 4.25 inches by 5.5 inches high. Very heavy box with thick cast pewter walls. The top has a leaf pattern adorned with a figural head.

For collectors of Black Americana, this is a very rare piece. The piece has lots of surface wear throughout. The box was obviously used and since pewter is rather soft, one can find surface marks inside and out.
