These were originally hitching posts although many were converted to Lantern Holders in later Years.. This Beautiful hitching post may have the Original Paint on it as I see no undercoats of paint..

The size of the Figure is 37 inches tall, 16 inches wide at the arm and the base is 10 inches square.. I will also be in Gaithersburg Maryland on Sat, Nov, 1st and could deliver it there.. This fine Antique has been in my collection for about 30 years or more.. I welcome and encourage questions.
