Fantastic pair of antique black americana lawn jockey bookends. This pair is old and well sought after.

I don't know if they are cast iron or spelter, but they are a heavy metal material with attached to square bases. They're holding rings that look like hitching posts. I've also seen them described as "salesman's samples", but I don't have enough information on that to say for sure. There are some normal signs of wear from usage and age over the years.

There is some paint loss to both of the pieces, but one has more wear on the pants. I believe that the base on the mustard colored outfit was repainted, as it is more of a blue color than the dark green on the base of the other. Please look closely at the pictures, as they show the condition better than can be described. These measure 3 1/4" square at the base by 10 1/4" high.
