Antique cabinet photo HORSESHOE FARRIER BLACKSMITH SHOP tools anvil horses 1907
Antique cabinet photo: HORSESHOE FARRIER BLACKSMITH SHOP INTERIOR, 1907 - fantastic image with blacksmith at his anvil, with many tools behind him (tongs, nippers, hammers); another man is about to shoe a donkey, there's a horse behind them, and three other employees, two of which are young boys; many horseshoes hanging from the ceiling, and a sign above the door gives a date of 1907; not sure what is painted on the door; the photo measures 8x6 inches. On the back it says that Geo. Gilpin was originally written beneath the photo, before the margins were trimmed.
I bought this in Portland OR with several photos that were from Oregon; not sure of location of this one but could be Pacific NW. Condition: VG (scarring to one corner, several spots). We are always happy to combine multiple items. WE NEVER USE STOCK PHOTOS - all images are of actual items. WE USUALLY USE MULTIPLE IMAGES.
We grade all items conservatively, and when grading record albums we follow the Goldmine Record Guide.
