This antique wood toy is the Ragtime Rastus dancer that tap dances when placed on a special platform on a phonograph. Ragtime Rastus Talking Machine toy. Jig Doll with No Platform included. Ragtime Rastus novelty toy made by The National Toy Company in 1917. Very rare Dancing phonograph toy from circa 1917.

All joint nails are solidly in place with freely swinging limbs. No breaks or missing parts. There is some paint wear, especially to his face, chest and hands.

He's 5 1/2 tall head to foot. 6 1/2 tall including his metal stick. Unpacked he weighs a little less than 1 ounce.
