Antique Black Americana Original 1900 Shaving Mug Bare Bottom Black &white Girls

Here's a very rare fraternal antique porcelain shaving mug from the 1890s or early 1900 era. With a little black girl and a white girl reading a newspaper. The girls dresses are open in back exposing their bare bottoms so perhaps they are sitting on a privy seat? At the base rim are the fraternal society initials RAA which stands for Racoczi Aid Association, which was a Hungarian fraternal society of the late 1800s....

Mug owners name is L. DRAHCS hand painted in gold on front.... Maker's mark on bottom is LIMOGES FRANCE....

Colorful hand painted scene of the girls with evergreen trees on either side with blue wrap.... Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage.

A nice clean mug with no stains. I guarantee this shaving mug is authentic and over 110 years old.

The RAA (Racoczi Aid Assoc) was founded in 1888 in Bridgeport, Ct and promoted Hungarian & benevolent causes through a newspaper, which is probably what is depicted the girls reading.
