Antique Black Americana Johnny Griffin Inkwell

Antique inkwell made of cast iron with a bronzed finish. In the mid 1800s, an artist captured the image of a young black lad with a torn hat. This was immortalized and created a list of items made from the drawing entitled Johnn Griffin. This is a circa 1920s cast iron inkwell with a bronzed finish.

Measures 3 1/4" wide x 6 1/8" long x 2 1/2 tall. The number 4557 is embossed on the underside. In very good estate found condition with obvious wear to the bronzed finish. Antique Black Americana Johnny Griffin Inkwell.
