ANTIQUE (circa 1890) - Black Americana - CHALKWARE MECHANICAL BANK - NODDER - The bank measures approximately 7 1/2" long by 4 1/2" wide by 13 tall - The Condition is Very Good with age appropriate wear - Original Finish with some minor paint loss - There is a chip and wear spot on the shell where the coin is inserted - There is also an old repair where the steel weight is attached - (see close-up photographs) - The child's head nods when a coin is inserted - The size of the bank indicates that it may have been used on the counter of a county store.
