Antique African American Men Suits, Tophat, Canes & Uniform Tinytype Photos

Item up for sale is a fantastic group of 4 antique tintype photographs all depicting African American men in various poses. All images were found in an estate from Eastern Maryland and it is believed the photographs originate from the same area. One of the images depicts a well dressed man in an outdoor setting with the man dressed in a suit with a top hat and walking stick (this is the largest of the group). Second image depicts a man in a studio pose who is well dressed with what appears to be a bowler style hat.

Third image depicts a man in a standing studio pose with a top hat and last image depicts a man in a standing pose in a white jacket. This image is rather blurry though we believe this is a work uniform of some sort. The three smaller images show clipped corners with surface rust / graphic wear to the front. All images show surface rust to various degrees on the back sides.

All are similar in size with the largest of the bunch measuring 3-1/2" top to bottom by 2-1/2" wide. Amazing grouping of late 19th century photos that come fresh to the market. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
