It is dated 1899 and the title is "The Fortune Teller". Depicting an elderly Black Fortune Teller getting some hot water from the kettle to make some tea and read the young Victorian Lady's Fortune.

Measuring 20" by 29" this stretched canvas Oil Painting is in very good original condition except for one invisible restoration, just in front of the lady's leg. There are no other restorations to this 1899 Oil Painting and it comes in its original 25 ¾" by 34 ¼" Gold Gilt Frame. You can see a large gesso chip to the upper right hand corner and another along the bottom edge.
