Ant. Folk art wood carvings of a Black couple Thomas Brown Americana rustic camp

Nice pair of antique folk art wood carvings of a young black couple in great original condition. The carvings have a wonderful mellow patina. The black woman is wearing a red dress with white trim & buttons. She has black hair, red lips and charming facial features.

The black gentleman is wearing a blue shirt with buttons and brown trousers. The carvings have lots of interesting carved features and are quite well done.

The woman has an old repair to her right leg. These are in very nice condition and are free standing. The black woman is about 5 1/2" tall, the black gentleman is about 6" tall.
