Contains original cover with supplemental 6 pages of Appleton's advertising their publication of An Abridgment of the Debates of Congress, from 1789 to 1856.

Those 6 pages, including the supplemental cover are in poor condition with old tape repairs, stains, tears and frayed edges. The Dred Scott report is in good condition with significant staining on the lower corners of the first 100+ pages and light toning consistent with age throughout.
