1971 Vintage African American Photo Album Christmas & Wedding Reba Bess Taylor

African American Family Photo Album 1971 - 1972. On the First page is a photo of REBA BESS TAYLOR, looking at the album prepared for her. Reba graduated from Wiley College in 1927 and started a career in teaching.

Several years later, as WWII began, Reba accepted a position at Camp Wallace as Senior Hostess at the Army's segregated USO club on base. Reba met her future husband Robert E. And they married and moved to Blackstone, Va.

The photo album is filled with pictures of family & friends in Galveston during Christmas in the family house and photos of her sisters wedding. One picture shows the family tv. Reba's family history goes back to the early 1800's on the internet. Don't miss this piece of History!
