Scarce dust jacket has wear as shown a few repairs made with clear matte archival tape.
Ulmann's images captured the lives of former slaves and their progeny on a. Plantation along the Gullah coast beautiful photographs, though a highly romanticized view of African Americans in the South in the early 1930s.
