1930s Black Americana Sprinkling Sambo Figural Lawn Water Sprinkler

Vintage 1930's Black Americana " SPRINKLING SAMBO " that was manufactured by the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. And has the original company sticker affixed to the back of the figures right pants leg. This cute little guy measures 33 1/2 high and is completely AUTHENTIC with original paint. The metal base measures 1/2 foot in diameter. Please check other examples so you can see the difference between reproductions and this original. Amazing that Firestone Tire & Rubber Company would manufacture such a demeaning lawn figure to hold their rubber garden and lawn hoses. Thank goodness, we've eliminated some of the racial images of the past.
