1885 Stevens Working Mechanical Black Man & Slave Shack Black Americana Bank. Marked on the bottom Patd June 2D 1885 by J. Stevens Company, this antique, Cast Iron Mechanical Bank depicts a Black Man standing in the doorway of a small shack. On the sides are a Banjo, a Griddle, a Varmint Pelt and a Broom. When you move the broom the Black Man flips upwards and kicks the coin at the top of the roof, into a slot.
