1860s Photo George William Curtis Abolitionist Civil Rights Leader JW BLACK Rare

He was the brother in law of Robert Gould Shaw of the famous 54th Massachusetts. Curtis was also the editor of Harper's Weekly and one of the founders of the Republican Party.

CDV is about 4" x 2.5" and in very good+ to excellent antique condition. Images of Curtis can be scarce, and especially so in this condition.
