For your consideration is a gorgeous vintage estate tobacco jar and wonderful piece of Black Americana. This gentleman can be seen with his cigar, cane and a smile. Detail, all original hand paint and no repairs. There's a very small chip on the inside if the jar lip, it can only be seen when the jar is opened and you look into the jar. I almost didn't notice it until I was taking the pictures for this listing.

The markings on the bottom are two sets of number and the letter "Q". This is almost certainly a Bernard Boch piece, though it's very similar to the work of Johann Maresch.

I have several other pieces from this same estate which are both Boch and Maresch so I'm certain it's one or the other. The detailed pictures are 90% of the description so please look over them carefully and ask questions if you have any. This vintage estate tobacco jar / humidor will get attention and it will certainly draw the interest of fellow smokers and collectors. Don't let this get away, you may not have another opportunity to get one like this. Please look at the pictures closely, the pictures are 90% of the description. Some stems are loose or may need replaced, may have teeth marks, may need adjusting or shimming.

Some parts such as stems may not be original to the pipe. Some pipes may need restoration.

For pipes which have been smoked, its a good idea for them to be cleaned and sanitized before use. Not much is needed for this guy, a little humidity and some cleaning and youll be enjoying it within a day.
