Born near Atlanta, GA in 1920 to a poor share-cropper family, Jackson painted on board and used other available materials including house paint to create his art. Jackson was born dyslexic as evidenced by his lettering. He painted what he saw and remembered from his childhood. This painting is titled reztn. The painting measures 16X12 with the frame 18X14. I got the painting from an antique shop in Wilmington N. Back in the late 90s. Painting will be packed with plenty of bubble wrap.
