BLACK AMERICANA WELL DRESSED MAN IN TOP HAT CAST IRON DOORSTOP ANTIQUE DOOR STOP. Here offered is a really nice Cast Iron Doorstop.

This was found in the attic bedroom of a recent estate sale holding the door open. This is as found condition. I did not even wipe the dust off. This shows wear on the bottom and back. The casting detail is quite good.

If the paint is not original it has been on this for a long, long time. There are chips and wear to the paint along the edges and on the brim of the hat and the base as would be expected. The back is hollowed out as shown. This is 5 5/8 across the back at the base and 3 3/8' across the back of the hat brim. The base is 2 1/8 from front to back.

This stands 7 3/4 high and weighs 4 pounds and 8 ounces. We do our best to describe and picture our items. If there is damage or anything that we see as more than normal wear it will be mentioned and a photo supplied.
