Antique Vtg CAST IRON BLACK AMERICANA BELLBOY 38 Hotel Bellhop SMOKING STAND

Rare piece of Black Americana in original condition. This piece measures 38" tall, 12" deep, and 2 wide. She told me that she bought this piece in Chicago at an antique store about 20 years ago, and they told her it originally came out of an old hotel in Chicago; she did not remember which hotel. This piece is in great condition displaying its original paint colors brightly. There will be a little wear or degradation to the paint in places, but for its age, it is in really nice shape. Most likely an ashtray, or a plate for tips, would have sat on the metal plate the bellhop is holding in his hands. You could easily create a new base if you felt it necessary. Also this piece could possibly make for a unique business card holder in an antique or collectibles store! Quite a heavy statue for his size weighing in at an easy 35lbs, and will be closer to 40lbs packed. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER ITEMS FOR SALE, AND ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITE SELLERS LIST!
