You are purchasing a very rare and historic Victorian styled photo of a Southern U. It is in a 22"x16" antique bubble frame with covex glass. It is estimated to originally be from the 1890s which would have put the couple in the odd historic eve of Jim Crow while African Americans still had SOME (though increasingly limited) autonomy in the South. The availability of Black American photos from this era remains elusive.
