Antique Civil War Era Skillet Primitive Cast Iron Frying Pan 13 3-Legs 1800s. It is only marked with the size on handle. Includes heavy 13 Balto lid. Size: Skillet and Lid are 13.

Measures 21 1/2 across skillet to handle. Approximately 6 in height with lid on.

Crack on lid about 3" to 3.5". The crack looks to be a seperated welding bead. See last 2 pictures for crack details.

I did not see the crack until I held the lid up to the light. Easy repair if pursue it.

The rest of the lid is solid. There is not any rust flaking off or anything loose.

We have not restored, only done a light cleaning. Weighs almost 16 lbs alone. We do our best to give accurate descriptions, disclosures and detailed photos.
