1920s FOLK ART RAG DOLL. She has a multi-piece period costume: dress, tie-on apron, slip, bloomers, headscarf, neck scarf, and earrings.

Q: How old is she? They are known for being accurate and doing their homework on the things they sell. They indicated that she is the real thing -- genuine antique -- and that her provenance was from the 1920s. When you see her up close, you will agree that she is truly old, based on the type and condition of materials used in her construction.

Q: Where is she from? Here you have my best good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind, though, that vintage/antique dolls always show their age -- Don't we all! -- so please expect that there will be something about this doll lot that's not perfect. It is not in brand-new condition.

There will always be some minor indication of age, and it would be impossible to itemize every single pinhead-size stain on the outfit or hairline scratch on the body. Please expect that your vintage/antique doll will have these types of normal age-related conditions even if they are not mentioned below. This is a lovely vintage/antique doll in amazing condition. She has some age-related yellowing and weakness in the material, where a few small holes are starting (see final photos).

Also a small spot of what looks white paint on the BACK of her skirt. She is gorgeous for her age. As with all my listings (unless explicitly stated otherwise), this comes from a NON-smoking environment.

Please SUPERSIZE all photos for a full picture of this lovely doll lot's condition. As often happens, it's the few bad apples out there who ruin it for the rest of us. Not knowing what they're doing. And then, when they realize they've ruined the doll, they return it saying it was defective. I sell these dolls for a living, so... Please don't hesitate to contact me. Any questions you may have. Or if there's an error, I'll correct it! If you liked this item, check out what else I have for sale.
