Antique Black Americana Cast Iron Inkwell

Vintage Black Americana Cast Iron Inkwell. This wonderful little inkwell is made of cast iron.

It has a lift top to access the porcelain dish for the ink. Most of these inkwells no longer have the porcelain insert.

There is no bronzing to it and shows the wear of the years, but the details are still wonderful and it is in solid condition. There are some discolorations as seen in the pictures. The underside is stamped with the number 55. It is 6" x 3.25".
