Annie Lee Sass'n Class Rare Holy Ghost 2950 Of 5000 One Of Kind Figure. Hat is chipped (please see pictures) Left hand did break but it was a clean break and was super glued. This is a figurine that was created from the art of Annie Lee, a famous African-American artist who was popular during this time, but died in 2014. Annie Lee's art was known because she didn't have faces on her paintings, instead letting the body language and colorful scenes draw the audience into the images.

Born in Gadsden, Alabama, Annie Lee was raised in Chicago and years later, operated her Annie Lee & Friends company in Glenwood, Illinois. Annie Lee loved art as a child, but she only resumed painting when she was 40 years old. Annie Lee's art became popular in the early 90s, then Sandy Dolls Inc. Officials licensed Lee's work to be made into figurines, which made Lee's work become far more popular and valuable. This "Holy Ghost" figurine is one of the earliest Sandy Dolls figurines created and is also one of the rarest in the Annie Lee figurine collection.

This figurine was designed in America with the help of the owner of Sandy Dolls Inc and the art of Annie Lee, but the figurines were made in China. This rare figurine measures about 6 inches long, 4 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches tall.
